Teacher Discounts

Bring 5-15 students: 1 Free Teacher
Bring 16-29 students: 2 Free Teachers 
Bring 30-49 students: 3 Free Teachers
Bring 50-89 students: 4 Free Teachers
Bring 90+ students: 5 Free Teachers

  • All teachers with teacher passes are allowed access to all rooms. *Observers are not included when calculating the total dancer count for studios.

  • If a studio brings 40+ students they receive one free hotel room for one night (the night before the event) at the host hotel.

Participant Breakdown

  • Participant Age consideration is calculated during registration. If a teacher believes a dancer should dance in a room outside of their age, they may be moved upon Axiom Discretion. 

  • Axiom reserves the right to combine ages/rooms at any event due to capacity limitations and attendance.

  • Mini Room

    • This room is for dancers ages 8 & Under.

    • Dancers in the Mini room will take 4 classes resulting in a half day convention.

    • Dancers in the Mini room are eligible for scholarships and will participate in the Ending Showcase.

  • Petite Room

    • This room is for dancers ages 9-10.

  • Junior Room

    • This room is for dancers ages 11-12.

  • Teen Room

    • This room is for dancers ages 13-15.

  • Senior Room

    • This room is for dancers ages 16-19.

  • College Students:

    • Axiom offers a discounted rate of $120 to dancers with valid college ID’s ages 17-23. Dancers using the college discount will dance in the senior room. This offer can not be combined with any other discounts.

  • Teacher Room

    • This room is reserved for teachers.

  • Observers

    • Observers are allowed in any room except the teacher room and closed audition classes. All must follow etiquette guidelines.

    • Observer Wristbands can be purchased for $25 before the event during registration. Observer wristbands will be available onsite for $35.

    • Observer Wristbands can only be purchased by those with participating dancers who are not teachers, studio owners, or dancers.

    • Observer Wristbands may not be available to every city due to venue capacity restrictions and may not be sold onsite at every event.

    • Observer wristbands are not required for the warm up and closing awards ceremony. 

    • Observer wristbands are NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions. 

Registration Guidelines

  • Registration deadlines are defined city by city on the website. Registrations must be received and paid in full to the Axiom Office 30 days prior to the event date. A $25 late registration fee per participant (Late Rate) will incur after that date. 

  • On-Site registrations will be accommodated at the door based upon availability and capacity with a $30 late fee (On-Site rate). 

  • The Early Bird discount is available up to 45 days before the event. Registrations must be received and paid in full 45 day prior to the event to receive the discounted rate.

  • No registration is guaranteed without payment. To secure your spot, we request a 50% deposit at time of registration. 

  • No dancer is permitted to attend an Axiom event without paying their registration in full. Unpaid registrations will not be included in the event and the dancer capacity will be given to a studio on the waiting list. 

  • Last minute registrations will be accommodated based upon availability and capacity.

  • All wristbands must be worn at all times. Anyone without a wristband will be denied access to the convention ballrooms.

  • Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to the amount of capacity available. When our events reach their capacity we will stop accepting registrations, so please send registrations in early.

  • Refunds are only given if Axiom cancels the event. Refunds will NOT be given under any other circumstances. Dancers will be eligible for a credit, with proof of doctors note, for injury or illness to be used within 1 year of issuance.

  • Payments must be made by cash, credit card, check, or certified funds. All fees will only be accepted in United States Dollars; no foreign checks will be accepted. 

  • Scholarships earned at a Legacy or Axiom events do not have a "cash value". 

  • Completed liability waivers are required for each dancer/participant to take part in an Axiom event. 

  • Any dancer partaking in Axiom events accepts certain inherent risks. These include, but are not limited to sprains, bruises, pulled muscles, and broken bones. Participation in this convention indicates the acceptance of such risks by performers. Therefore by virtue of entering this event, it is agreed that participants will not hold Axiom, its officers, directors, officials, staff or employees responsible for injuries sustained or illnesses contracted by them while in attendance and/or participating in any activity related to an Axiom Convention. Axiom and the hosting facility are not responsible for personal injury or property loss to either participants or spectators.

  • An event schedule will be provided for studios 6 days prior to the convention. This will be sent via email. Please be sure to supply us with an active email address.

Independent Registrations 

  • Independent dancers are welcome at Axiom events.

Digital Media

Participants, by virtue of entering an Axiom Event, give their permission and consent to the directors of Axiom to use their images, photographs, and videos to appear on television, or any other electronic media for advertising, news coverage or any other commercial use of our events.

  • No photo or video is allowed while class is in session with an exception to staff photos in between classes and closing ceremonies.

Convention Etiquette

Axiom’s goal is to provide a positive experience for everyone that attends our events. To assist us in achieving this goal, it is expected that every member of the attending studios (directors, teachers, students and parents) will be courteous and supportive of each other in a manner that displays respect for the Art of Dance.

  • Dancers are expected to maintain professional classroom etiquette.

  • Dancers are advised to wear cover-ups outside the ballroom area.

  • It is expected that the property of our convention, hotel venues, and staff will be treated with respect.

  • Excess noise or loitering is prohibited in areas not occupied by Axiom. Please help us maintain a positive relationship with our venues so that they will look forward to having us in years to come.

  • Chaperones are required for students age 17 or under staying in the host hotel.

  • Axiom, the event venue, and host hotel are not responsible for personal injury or property loss.

  • With the exception of the Ending Showcase, NO VIDEO ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME DURING THE ENTIRE EVENT. Registered Teachers and participants may also video during the last 15 minutes of classes with dancer and teacher permission.

  • Luggage and/or large items not allowed in classrooms.

  • All chairs must remain against the walls and not be moved.

  • No glass is permitted in the classrooms.

  • We ask that all observers remain respectful during classes by not pulling attention away from teachers by talking, disruptive phone usage, distracting the dancers, etc.
