Jeff Lapes

JEFF LAPES is a highly energized and dynamic dancer and choreographer. From the age of 12 he performed in Broadway promos, toured with and choreographed for Radio Disney stars, and traveled around the country assisting top choreographers. As he got older, his passion for dance led to work on VH1, CBS, and MTV with artists such as Neyo, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Lil Mama, Patti Labelle, Taylor Dayne and Deborah Cox, just to name a few. He also toured the country with West Coast Dance Explosion as their hip hop instructor. You may recognize him from being a member of the crew "Iconic" from "America's Best Dance Crew ". Jeff then traveled to Holland where he choreographed for the artist Labrinth with judge Dan Karaty on the hit show "The Ultimate Dance Battle". While in Holland, he also helped Dan  choreograph a musical based on the book entitled "Lover of Loser". Back in the states, Jeff opened "CAJJA Productions", an entertainment and dance production company featuring promotional films, videos, and dance performances for companies such as "Shaping Sound" & Talia Favia. He recently teamed up with the Joffrey Ballet School to produce and direct an immersive jazz show entitled “Blame It On my Youth”! You can catch Jeff on faculty at the Joffrey Ballet School NYC  and Steps on Broadway bringing  his fresh, yet “old school" vibe to dancers from across the globe!
